Stapeley Water Gardens is just outside Nantwich in Cheshire.

That looked like a place to put on our list for places to visit next year.
ReplyDeleteDrat - I thought I would be the only one with Fountain!
I love sculpture parks and the last one took the price this time
ReplyDeleteGreat place to visit. I love all the photos and the fancy figures, especially the 2nd one.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my 'F' for FLYOVER here
Wonderful statues - looks like a great place to be.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Klaus
P.S.: I find the description, that the "best" Bloggers participate in the Anthology thing a bit off the mark. I know a lot of most excellent bloggers, who prefer the old ABC over the new one, and just don't want to post there.
FAR out, all these figures! Looks like a fun park.
ReplyDeleteFancy and fanciful indeed. Looks like a great park...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place :-) very nice F
ReplyDeleteHow reat! These statues look so alive! Really amazing!

Kisses from Nydia.
I am definitely putting this place on my list of places to visit next time in England! Thanks so much - I remember when you posted about it before and showed us the dog.
ReplyDeleteI also loves sculpture parks. I visit the Frogner park in Oslo for a few weeks ago. Great post Gerald!
ReplyDeleteWater parks are wonderful places to relax & have fun. Looks like it's stopped raining??
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sculpture park! Everything is so dry and brown here at the end of summer--that green, lush grass is beautiful!

Wow...that is amazing. I saw tons of statues today and none were as beautiful as those.
ReplyDeleteFantastic F photos.
ReplyDeleteMy favourites are #2 and #4.
Bear((( )))
This is a truly fascinating place! The sculptures seem to integrate beautifully with the rest of the gardens. I liked the little cherub sitting in the stream and spouting water through his pipe.
ReplyDeleteThe sculptures seem really to dance. I like the man observing them - he reminds me of a Brit I worked with who would be saying "Bloody 'ell" to those while admiring them.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a variety of fancy figures, Gerald. Nice photos. I am taken with the juxtaposition of that sexy woman with the couple paying her no mind. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteGerald, yet another batch of fabulous photographs - my daughter was amazed at the figures and wants me to take her there NOW!! (Quite demanding sometimes she is!!)
ReplyDeleteFabulous choice for F.

I thought this sort of thing was only in mainland Europe. I am impressed. These are definitely worth the virtual visit.
ReplyDeleteSo charming, I've never seen a park like this. Brave Buskers, yes, all covered in white like alabaster.
ReplyDeleteIt was just strange to see my update on the CDP thumbnails, i thought I had removed my blog but it takes more than I thought!
