  23. Good to see how our architecture survives. But look how the roofs of the Botanic Gardens have changed - in this instance for the better, I think.

  25. I went to a wedding in Glasgow some years ago. The reception was held in the Merchants Hall (I think that was the name). It was certainly an imposing building.

  27. My father-in-law was born in old Glasgow--much older Glasgow as he would be 117 at his next birthday. Then and now photos are exciting. I have some of my Dad's 1920s pictures, and sometimes try to find the same places now.
