Skywatch Friday: Blackpool (1)

Today's photograph is a contribution to Skywatch Friday.

It was taken on the South Promenade at Blackpool, near the Pleasure Beach at about ten past four in the afternoon on Tuesday 11th November 2008.

We had four nights at the resort and the weather was, for the most part, cold and wet and windy and nasty. Nonetheless, it didn't prevent me taking some great photographs.

This is the first of several sunsets I'm going to post here over the next few Fridays.

  1. What a great view and capture. I could sit here for awhile even though it looks chilly. I like the way the clouds rest on the horizon.

  16. "There's a seaside town called Blackpool, that's noted for fresh air and fun. Mr and Mrs Ramsbottom, went there with Albert, their son"

I'm sure you know the rest.
