Skywatch Friday: Llandudno
Last Friday we went to Llandudno. It was generally fine and although there was a cool breeze it remained dry. I took in excess of 100 photographs, including some on the way there and the way back.
This is the one I've chosen to show you today. It is taken from the bandstand on the promenade and shows the curve of Ormes Bay and the Great Orme in the background.

ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was this great and fantastic group of people who blogged and photographed … with a click, click here, a snap, snap there, all of them had a week to look upon the sky … day and night, by dusk or dawn, sunrise or sunset … and always there where great and fantastic photos to be seen when SKY WATCH was opened …

ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmmm! Is that a blue sky I see? Are you sure it is this country Gerald? Grey sky here AGAIN!
ReplyDeleteI've been there! Wonderful experience.
ReplyDeleteMy Nana Jones was born here way back in 1896! It is one of the places on my list to visit when my friend and I travel in Wales next summer - back surgery being successful, that is! We plan on staying there a few days. I'm so happy to see it's such a beautiful place - I hear it's a famous resort area now.
ReplyDeleteWow, you probably won't believe but a few years ago we stayed for a few days in one of the hotels there. I don't remember the exact place but it is in your picture.
ReplyDeleteVery nice place.
I'd like to walk this beautiful coast.
