A personal blog by Ackworth born Gerald England who married a Lancashire lass, went West and now lives in Cheshire.
It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures. We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere. And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions
Gerald: That is really getting a bonus in the Sky with the steeple and the jet.
Just a quick visit to say thank you for joining in with Sky Watch.Great capture Gereld... I wish I'd turned out that day.
Great picture from you this friday as well. I wonder if the people in the sky was watching you?? Nice weekend wish to you from Norway.

I am glad it was way over - the church looks much to nice for a crash.
That's lovely, Gerald. Your timing is excellent! Thanks.
Your sky is blue enough to be an Australian sky, Gerald. I do like have you have included framing points and the plane is probably a fortuitous masterstroke - if there be such a thing.Good image, Gerald ...
Excellent photo. Is that a jet in the center? Have a great 4th!
Stunning blue in the sky! Love how the steeple pierces the blue! great shot!
How blue is blue? - Sky blue! Made even more so by the pure white clouds and the frame of trees and steeple. what a day for flying!
Great sky watch and have a nice weekend!!!!!!!!
Blue skies make people happy. This one's a cheerful photo. Have a good weekend.
Beautiful sky love the capture of the plane as well.
The spire seems to be pointing at the jet. Nothing like fluffy white clous in a clear blue sky. This photo is a winner.
Oh that sky. It is so blue. Really like shots of steeples contrasting the blue sky.
Cool shot with the steeple, that blue, blue sky and that tiny/distant airplane.
Nice choice. I'll be the Beatrix Potter exhibition was quite rewarding and enjoyable. She was a remarkable lady.
We see planes over here...especially on a Tuesday, always two together...boys with toys? LOL!

I have a plane as well, and knew that you would as someone mentioned it.
The clouds are so gorgeous that the plane became simply an interesting momentary diversion before I went back to gazing at the clouds once more.
