ABC Wednesday - W is for Wintry Woodley
Woodley is roughly half way between Hyde and Stockport and one wintry day earlier this month I went there on a photo-hunt. The parish church is St Marks.
The drinking fountain at the bottom of George Lane dates from 1881. It was recommissoned after a restoration project under the initiative of Ian Simpson and the Woodley Community Council on 23rd April 1988.
More W posts can be seen on the ABC Wednesday Anthology blog.
Others can be found via the ABC Wednesday with Mister Linky which carries a registry of participants.
