ABC Wednesday - B is for Bench

I found this bench about a week ago in Vernon Park at Stockport, Cheshire.
That isn't dirt on the seat - it is ice, but it is quickly being melted by the bright morning sun.

What a nice bench to sit - in summer... =o)
It's a lovely photo for sure, but what puzzles me now.....Can you get piles from sitting on a cold bench?
:-O
Of course I like your B-post really good, hehe :) Both of us have benches ;)
This Christmas in Washington state I photographed benches piled high with snow. This one looks as though it might be cold for an hour or so. Not the snowy ones!
Morning dew on a benches is not pleasant to sit on. I noted the humour on mine from you.
Our bench is under ice and snow...
Oooohhh.. I bet it would be hard to sit on that bench... but the photo was well captured.
My "B" entry is posted here and here. Hope you'll take a look as well. Thanks!
A little ice shouldn't hurt too much! :) The benches here still have 3-4 feet of snow on them and nobody considers sitting down outside until May. Good post.
Good one, Gerald! Think I'll pass on sitting there until the ice melts and dries.

That would not be my choice for sitting with all that ice. Great shot.
I hate sitting on a wet bench, but a frozen one would be worse. The lawn is well manicured.
Hi!
That's a great "B"! Looks like a great place to sit and relax with a good book! Have a great day!!

That's definitely not a "hot seat." Looks like anyone sitting there could use a little warmth. Why not head on over to check out my blazing fire. - Margy
Even without the ice it doesn't look all that comfy. With the ice... no thanks!
I'm also here on behalf of the ABC Team to thank you for posting.
It looks pretty cold Gerald, but it's a good B word!

Rune was right -- I enjoyed getting a peek at the same bench in a different season!
