unknowns await
words and photo © gerald england
The theme this week at One Deep Breath is Poetry of the Sea.
This particular bit of sea is off the West coast of Greenland.
An account our adventures there and other pictures are at Cruise 2005.
Qaqortoq 2005 is a full album of photographs.
My Qaqortoq collection of haiga can be found at Haiga Online.

Love the words. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteWow, Greenland- I've been to Iceland but Greenland seems so "unknown" as you say...
ReplyDeletewonderful colours in the photo. The great unknown lurks as you say.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's probably what I love most about the sea, how much seems unknown....
ReplyDeleteNow, that is scary!
ReplyDeleteVery mysterious, and wonderful colors in the photo.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful collection. Great pictures, made me feel as if I were there. The mystique of ice bergs and fog...sad what we have done to them. Sad to see the beautiful innocent bears slaughtered. Charming and quaint architecture.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.
