Skywatch Friday: A New View

This was the view from my window about mid-day this Thursday.

We moved a month ago. I won't bore you with gory details, suffice to say there were lots of minor mishaps and hassles along the way. But with patience and help they all got sorted out in the main.

We had no phone for two and and a half weeks and it took another week to get the internet connection back. Mind you with everything going on I didn't even unpack and connect the computer up for about ten days.

Still a lot to be sorted but there isn't much that we are missing about the old place. We like our new location very much indeed.

This is a contribution to Skywatch Friday.

  7. I know all about no connection, I was moving a few weeks back and had no internet for around 5 weeks. I saw a lot more of my friends those few weeks, trying to upload stuff for my blog.
Nice to hear you are now sorted.
Never known anyone use Geograph before. Thanks for the link to Leeds Photo Daily Paul.

  8. Welcome back Gerald. Congratulations on your new home. Hopefully any mishaps are all behind you now. Moving can be a stressful business at the best of timjes. Glad you like your new home though. The sky isn't all that glorious but you have nature in your view and that is always very nice.

  14. Glade to hear that the move has been done. When we moved, we still had things not yet unpacked four years later. You should be much better than us, at least for your computer!! Take care
