Petting a Shetland Pony
We met a miniature Shetland pony in Ashton under Lyne this Saturday.
The young lady who was looking after it told me its name but I've forgotten what she said. She did say they were a charity based in Leicester and they take their "petting ponies" to schools, hospices and care homes around the country to meet people and raise money to support various children's charities and Riding for the Disabled.
More information can be found on their website The Phoenix Children's Foundation.
A contribution to Saturday Critters and Camera Critters.
