Part of an exhibition, Time Islands and Space Islands by Diango Hernandez at
MOSTYN in Llandudno. It is the first solo exhibition, in a UK institution, by Cuban born and Düsseldorf-based artist, Diango Hernandez.
The show includes, amongst others, a site-specific wall mural entitled "A million people can be silent"; a series of fruit sculptures and reclaimed furniture; works on canvas and offset printed paper; and a fragile construction of rusted steel - a numerical representation of the years 1959 to 2008 in descending order.
