ABC Wednesday - K is for Knott End on Sea
ABC Wednesday - K is for Knott End on Sea, seen here from across the River Wyre in Fleetwood.
These photographs were taken last Friday. There are plans to dredge the river to allow even bigger ships to use the Port of Fleetwood.
If you click and enlarge the picture you may be able to make out the wind turbines on what I think is Calder Fell over towards the Trough of Bowland. I'm not sure whether the white buildings on the further shore are in Glasson Dock or Heysham.
This is a contribution to the ABC Wednesday project organised by Mrs Nesbitt's Place
