Simple and strong. It reads almost like a loop - where you could juggle the terms balance and timing and still retain the meaning. Sort of like a dance in words.
And so does your haiku!
very nice haiku. i like the way the line 'on balance' gives a suggested stop to the flow, and thus leaves the reader off balance for just a moment, until the rest of the haiku brings it back together.
