Bridge over the River Wharfe


For this month's contribution to Broer som Binder [Bridges between] we go back nearly forty years.

This little wood and stone bridge over the River Wharfe is at Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire. It was taken in 1969.

  2. Oh, this bridge is lovely. I love old bridges. It's not so many of those anymore. But your's are wonderful:)

    I shal try to remeber to take a shot of the new bridge in Korgen. But they have made a whole new road and the new bridge looks like a road. It's not near the old one. But I'll show you that an another time:)

  5. It is good to see an "old-fashioned", scanned, black-and-white picture of a old bridge. It fitted very nicely. It brings back more memories of times that were.
