Melancholy pleasure...
Is this the one at Southport?
Fabulous. Even more so when I thought the white wall in the foreground was gravestones.
A good sense of change in this. I liked it.
Interesting use of the prompt, with the combination of seasons. Clever!
a good reminder to embrace what is now...
This reminds me of an amusement park where I grew up in a very small town in New England. It is seasonal - only open 2 months out of the year. For most of the yer we were left to see the memories of what was and the promises of what is yet to be.
This evoked an instant memory of the past. Wonderful haiku.
You've created a vivid picture and evoked melancholy feelings with just a few words.
I like the realness of this piece. Thanks so much!Beth
Your words are wonderfully visual - speak of the photo!
The gods of autumn have tempted you away from summer pleasures I see! An interesting way to look at serendipity!
Very sad for me.
