Friday Bench (21): Brooklyn Park
Today's bench is from Brooklyn Park, Cheadle, near Stockport, Cheshire, UK.
It is a follow-up from last Sunday's Shadow Shot.
The full-colour version can be viewed on Geograph and the top of a birch tree in the park on sithenah.
My favourite benches discovered last week include Julie's at Pedra Branca, VP's stocks at Moreton in Marsh, Barbara's at Place Ville-Marie, PERB's at Claytor Lake, Three Rivers' on the Hidden Marsh, Jim's at Oystermouth andJenny's in Stockholm.

Thanks for reminding me to do a bench post.. I have a few pictures left from Cheethams park.
ReplyDeleteI have never been here... it looks a loverly bench Gerald.
A good solid bench - no frills or fripperies here.
ReplyDeleteA reflective place for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it is made all out of metal, but I suppose I'm fooled by the sepia. Nice one!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a good comfortable bench which would take the weight of a group of people talking.
ReplyDeleteI really like the iron arm rests on this bench, and from the shape of the back rest it appears quite comfortable to sit on.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Such a simple shot.... yet it is almost like a fairy tale!!
ReplyDeleteNice, solid, well kept, inviting bench! Thanks for the visit!
