ABC Wednesday:
T is for Tractor

Not so long I found this tractor in the grounds of what I believe to be an abandoned farm.

For now, at least, I won't reveal when (EXIF data deleted) or where this was taken.

  1. Are you planning a move and don't you want anybody else to know about the property?

  4. Sadly, it seems easy to find abandoned things these days. Terrific shot, Gerald, it says it all!

  5. Oh, a mystery shot! I wonder what is piled in front of the tractor. Very intriguing Gerald.

  7. There are tractor restoration people out here who would close to kill to restore that beauty. I have a 50+ year old massey ferguson, still in reasonable working order. They don't make things they way they used to.

  8. Looks as if it might be a battery chicken farm with guano piled up in front!

  11. Understatement of the year - at least the tractor seems to be abandoned.

  12. I love this old tractor. I grew up on tractors in Kansas. Farmers can never let go of them. They're a part of the family. They just retire and sit in the pasture, getting older and more beautiful. More perfect.
