Monday Mural: Isola Bella
Staying with the mural theme for Mondays, I've been into my archives and dug out this photo of a mural on the island of Isola Bella in Lake Maggiore, Italy.
I just went round a corner and there it was. What it is I have no idea. You can read a bit more of how I discovered it on Day 4 of our 9 day coach journey through 9 countries in Europe 2002.
A contribution to Monday Murals.

I thought it was an actual doorway at first glance! Very nicely done! As for your captcha...I just grin and bear it - you are always worth struggling through it! Blogger has done a great job of catching mine so far..
ReplyDeleteFascinating. Isn't it grand to make discoveries on the go?
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed a quick tour thru your 2002 trip photos.
it's beaufiful.
ReplyDeletemy entry is here: MONDAY MURAL
It's quite lovely - very gentle.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what it is either, but I like it. Some one took some serious time composing and then executing it. I like the contrast of the near portrait with the cartoon alien thingy. Thanks, Gerald, for participating in this week's Monday Mural.
