This secluded spot on the South side the fashionable Lancashire resort of Southport (now part of the Merseyside borough of Sefton) lies between the Esplanade and the Model Railway Village.

I have never been to Southport. Everyone I know who's been there always has something good to say about the place. Judging fron theis K I can see why.

ReplyDeletesorry but I don't know that blue and white thing is. It bears a coat of arms - probably of the local authority of the time when it was erected, which might be Southport Urban District, Lancashire County Council or Sefton Borough - it is possibly a waste bin aka trash can.
