A bird on the rose-bush

I'm posting this after seeing Birds Talk on Kris' Little Town in Hungary.

There's this rose-bush just outside my window. It is visited frequently by tits and other small birds. Usually they are so quick that they are almost impossible to photograph. But now that autumn is here with a vengeance, there is less foliage for them to hide in and I managed to get this shot of one of them.

  1. you captured a wonderful setting, Gerald! That is a plump bird, not sure if it is sparrow..

  2. Lovely pic gerald - you did well because this is a longtailed tit and they move around quickly.
They are so tiny that they fly around in groups for warmth and safety.

  4. I love rose hips. Sometimes I love birds, too, but these birds around here are so aggressive they undo whatever little work I do in the garden, so poo poo to them.
