Pole Bank Sky

On Wednesday I took you on a Pole Bank Perambulation.

Here now is an extra shot looking skyward over the pond. Can you see what is coming out of that cloud?

There is a view of the pond on Hyde Daily Photo and an even better one with more sky on my photoblog Sithenah.

A vintage view of Pole Bank Hall can be found on Old Hyde.

Check out other contributors to Sky Watch Friday on Wigger's World.

Who would have thought all those years ago when my Mum and Dad would take us to Pole Bank for a picnic that one day I would be hosting something like this with a picture of one of my favourite all time places would be posted.. Thanks Gerald your posts from here have made my day again this week.

  15. I love unspoiled, graceful places like this. I followed the links and I loved how even the stones are now green. They've become part of the pond and the grounds.

  16. This illustrates what I have been saying about light in different parts of the world. That blue green crisp sky we wouldn't get here or such vivid white clouds.Does look like a very peaceful part of the world.
